tanka dhakal, is an independent journalist based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He grew up in a village and feels a strong connection to the stories and issues of common people. He investigates and reports on the environment, climate change, community, and the intersections among them with real-world experience and scientific analyses in both Nepali and English. He equally dedicates his reporting to labor migration, human trafficking, psychological health, and intersectional representation of identities.
